THE RICHARD H. DREIHAUS prize

Each year the Timothy Richards workshop creates The Richard H. Driehaus Prize for the University of Notre Dame in collaboration with The Running Dog foundary (dinsdalepetch.co.uk) . 


The Richard H. Dreihaus patronage Award

HRH Prince of Wales, accepted The Richard H. Driehaus Prize at the University of Notre Dame Patronage Award ceremony in January 2012 at St. James’s Palace. The workshop was asked to create this Bronze Award for the Prince in recognition of his tireless commitment to traditional architecture and sustainable urban design.

Prince Charles received the bronze Tower of the Winds and donated the $150,000 prize to his foundation to establish an undergraduate diploma course in sustainability and the building arts, as part of the charity’s building skill program.        READ MORE HERE >
